My name is Wing Yan, an infant and child sleep consultant and founder of Precious Sleep. I am blessed with two beautiful little girls who sleep through the night and wake up with the biggest smile ever! It’s such a great joy to be with them every morning, the effect of a good night’s sleep 🙂
But, things were never this rosy... Let me tell you my story…
My elder daughter was a horrible sleeper, and the only way she fell asleep was through nursing, some nights I had to sit up for hours just so that she would fall into deep sleep and not wake when I put her down her cot. Her naps were too short, and hardly left me with enough time to do any house chores. I struggled from sleep deprivation, a lower back pain and emotional stress that affected my enjoyment as a new mum. I was about to go back to work from my extended maternity leave, and thought there needed to be a solution for this!
I started researching and came across a review about a sleep program on a fellow Malaysian mummy blogger and thought I’ll give it a try. Lo and behold, after following the program for about a week, I started to see results, and my baby started sleeping through the night! No more nursing, rocking, bouncing to sleep, she was able to fall asleep independently, through the night and through naps, a skill very much needed in every child!
I was so inspired that there was a solution to this, and that there is a way to help families out there who are struggling with sleep problems.
Aside from my own personal experience, I also obtained a certification in sleep training since 2016 and have helped more than 500 families since then! I am passionate about the coaching and support I give my clients to help them succeed. This comprehensive training and coaching program will give you the very best tools and knowledge available to help your little one sleep well.

Philosophy
A good and sound sleep will ensure that a child will have a solid foundation for a proper mind and body development. The method I was trained in was created out of the strong belief that healthy sleep habits make for healthy children. A well-rested child is curious, energetic, happy, playful, and eager to learn. Isn’t that what you want for your little ones?
I always believe that a child should learn the independence of sleeping, it is a life skill that they will have to learn on their own, but the good news is - YOU can help with the process! I place great importance on accommodating different parenting styles, and the bottom line is that you, need to be comfortable with your new sleep plan in order for it to work for your child.
Parents place a great deal of trust in me when they come to me for help, and I want you to know that I take this responsibility very seriously.
Does this involve the Crying-It-Out method?
Please understand that I will never ask you to leave your child to cry alone, nor will I ask you to ignore their cries. The method that I've been trained in is so effective is that it lets you develop a plan that you feel comfortable with, based on what you know about your child.
Crying is your child’s way of protesting change, and you can expect that making changes to their sleep habits will result in some protest. That’s why I’m always sure to tell parents that my program will most likely involve at least some amount of protest on the child’s part.
If you have any questions at all about my philosophy or methods, please don’t hesitate to ask!
Start enjoying your children, your partner and return to work feeling refreshed. It´s easier than you think. It IS possible to be a parent and sleep well too!
