Having a newborn with another elder child is very challenging. I thought I can practice the same sleeping habits (breastsleeping) to my newborn like I did to my first child , but it’s not as easy as I thought, as my first child needs my attention too.
I started to feel that I’m having problem after my confinement, when I realised that my baby have a very short nap (30-45 minutes) during the day. So I started to find for a solution and decided to contact Wing Yan, from Precious Sleep. Wing Yan helped me to tackle the problem and draft an ideal schedule for my newborn. She guided me in detail. She was very helpful and supportive throughout the programme. After about 2 weeks following the schedule not only his nap time has improved, other things as well like more quality feeding time, less night wakings(only 1-2 times now) self soothing skills (although not all the time successful) and most importantly no more sleeping while feeding.
